Dayboard stores what it needs to run a task board for you and the people you share it with. This page says what that is, in plain words.

What we store

  • Your account. Your name, email address, a hash of your password, and when you verified your email.
  • Your work. Organizations, projects, stages, task types, tasks, subtasks, comments, notes and their history. Deleted items are kept for thirty days so they can be undone, then removed for good.
  • Sessions. A token for each device you sign in on, with the browser's user agent, its IP address and when it was last used, so you can sign out other devices.
  • Email preferences. Which task notifications you have switched on or off.

What we use it for

To show you your board, to send the emails you asked for (assignment, mentions, comments on your tasks) and the ones an account needs (verification, password reset, invitations), and to keep the service working and safe. We do not sell your data, show advertising, or use your content to train anything.

Who can see your content

The members of an organization see that organization's content, according to their role. A personal board is visible to you alone. Task links open only for people who are members of the task's organization.

Services we rely on

  • Cloudflare hosts the site, the app and the API, stores the database, and provides Turnstile, which checks that sign-ups and password resets come from a person.
  • Google Fonts serves the typefaces on this website.

The app itself sets no third-party cookies and runs no analytics scripts.

Cookies and local storage

The app keeps your session token in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in. Signing out clears it. This website stores nothing.

Deleting your data

An owner can delete an organization from its settings. Deleted items are hard-deleted after thirty days. To delete your account entirely, write to the address below from the email you signed up with, and we will remove it.
